Sony Android LED 4K TV: Interesting Features
All the TVs will be keeping running on the latest Android Lollipop at the base with Bravia UX user interface on top.
Besides flawless picture, sound quality and elegant designs, the Bravia Android TVs also incorporates apps such as Serial Abtak and Notify BRAVIA developed by Sony and Google features such as Google Play Store, Voice Search and Google Cast etc. It was speculated that as a result of this partnership, Sony will come out with their first line-up of Android TVs soon.
For Bravia Android TV, Sony has developed Serial Abtak, which is a Catch-Up TV app allows viewers to watch their favourite TV serials missed by them anytime from a wide variety of National & Regional channels. All the new TVs will be able to connect to the Android Play Store for downloading apps and will support voice command for searching the web or within the Play Store.
Sony however has revealed the availability details of the new nine models namely the X9000C Series 4K LCD TV including 55-inch and 65-inch models will be available in Q3. Ninety per cent of Indian smartphone users are on Android. This app allows the TV to notify the customer if he gets a call, sms, email or any other notification on the smartphone. The high-end 4k TVs are powered by X1 processor and are capable of upscaling HD content to 4k. He said that Sony is committed to provide regular software updates to improve features and to enhance overall viewing experience on all the new Android TV models.
This technology also boasts of new spec “HEVC” and “VP9″ which can receive 4K distribution services and YouTube in 4K.

The company has highlighted seven interesting features of the TV. Moreover, there is DSEE HX technology to upscale audio from any low-quality, compressed audio source or Internet videos to near high resolution. The company credits the new “revolutionary floating style” for the slim profile and claims that the TV is “virtually frameless and mounts flush to your wall”.
