Companies ranging from new entrance to beverage industry to very senior veterans were there. We had a great exposure to the drink / beverage industry as participants were related to dairy, alcohol, juices, water, packaging, QC equipments, packaging material manufacturers, turnkey solution providers etc.. Exhibitors were from every corner of the globe. Glad to see the world now acknowledging the Indian beverage industry as potentially growing market. All seminars were very interesting, informative & great value to any beverage industry personnel. The NSE venue was very centrally located, secured & well managed. As India is poised to see a new era of growth & development in coming years, drink technology India addition should be a top event for Southeast Asia’s beverage industry.”
Roundtable Panel Participant statements:
Subba Bangera, President, Active Biz Solutions, India: “I noted more enthusiasm and focus by the visitors. There are more local brand investors with focus on health drinks. The panel discussion clearly highlighted the positive mood in the country. The game changers are new smart cities, new focus on transportation with bullet trains, metro lines, highways, express highways, airport connectivity in majority of districts, 35 port connectivity and above all in oper-ational mode of 17 food parks. The food and beverage industry will grow at average 15% and the polymer consumption in the country will grow from 10 kg per capita as of today to 20 kg per capita by 2020. Majority of this will go for packaging application. It is also felt that there were needs to be change in legislation and a clear policy on waste management.”

Importance of growth through training, knowledge dissemination and innovation was also highlighted.”
