Microsoft likely to launch Lumia 950, 950XL in India on November 30
Tech giant Microsoft is planning to carry out a press event in New Delhi on November 30. Reportedly, the company is about to launch its Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL model smartphones in India.
Lumia 950 has a 5.2 inch AMOLED display with a 2560×1440 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 565 ppi, whereas Lumia 950 XL features a 5.7 inch IPS display with 2560×1440 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 565 ppi.
The 950 is powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 while the larger 950 XL packs in a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810.
These two devices are the first ones to have Microsoft Windows 10 tag. These phones have a special feature of turning into a full-fledged Windows 10 PC.
Both Lumia 950 and 950 XL have 20 MP rear snapper and 5 MP front-facing camera along with triple LED flash and a fifth generation OIS.
Lumia 950 is priced in US at $549 which is nearly Rs 35,800 in India. Both smartphones have a 32 GB inbuilt storage and micro SD memory which is expandable up to 200 GB.
The handsets also feature Iris scanner (infrared) for Windows Hello, Qi wireless charging with a flip cover and USB Type-C.
